Objectives:

This workshop aims to:

1. Describe state-of-the-art methodological advances in the field of social network research.
    
2. Discuss special topics and identify obstacles and opportunities for stimulating scientific advancements in social network analysis for epidemiology, prevention, and services research in adolescents and young adult substance use.
    
3. Discuss how to stimulate the translation of social network research findings to understand, prevent, and treat adolescents and young adults’ substance use and support ongoing recovery.
