The conference will be taking place at the Albuquerque Convention Center, located at 401 2nd Street Northwest, Albuquerque, New Mexico, 87102, and the Hyatt Regency Albuquerque, located at 330 Tijeras Northwest, Albuquerque, New Mexico, 87102. During previous Blending Conferences, lodging at the primary hotel has been sold out well in advance of anticipated deadlines. In addition, the Gathering of Nations (link to www.GatheringofNations.com), North America's Biggest Powwow, is being held in Albuquerque at the same time as the NIDA Blending Conference (April 22-24). This national event historically draws large audiences, which will result in an additional demand for lodging across Albuquerque.

DIRECTIONS

From Albuquerque International Airport to Hyatt:
Exit on Sunport Blvd onto North I-25. Travel I-25 North to Martin Luther King exit 224 B.
Turn left on Martin Luther King and travel west to 5th St.
Turn left on 5th to Tijeras Ave.
Turn left on Tijeras- Hotel and Front Drive are on the right side.
To access parking garage continue on Tijeras, turn right on 3rd St and right on Copper. Garage is located on Copper- right hand side.
 
From Albuquerque International Airport to DoubleTree Hotel:
Exit Sunport Blvd. to I-25 North. I-25 North to Martin Luther King, exit 224b. Turn left heading west on MLK 3 blocks to the Hotel. The DoubleTree is on the right (North side of road).

TRANSPORTATION

To/From the Airport

• Taxi cab fare is $18-20 from Albuquerque International Airport to the Hotels.

The City of Albuquerque operates an efficient and reliable transit system to help our visitors and citizens get to their destination all over town. The Rapid Ride features a modern system of environmentally friendly buses that provide quick and easy access to major business centers, attractions, dining, shopping, hotels and special events without having to account for parking availability, fees, gas or traffic. A trolley car service operates between Downtown and Old Town and allows riders to experience a taste of Albuquerque 's history while enjoying the convenience of modern day transit. PARKING

Hyatt Regency:

• Valet Parking (No R.V. or oversize vehicle parking at hotel) available at $16 per night with in/out privileges. Clearance 6'8".
• Self parking at $12 per day including in/out privileges.
• Handicapped Parking: The parking garage has 3 accessible van spaces and 6 accessible car spaces.

DoubleTree Hotel:

• Self parking is $10 per day including in/out privileges.

The Albuquerque Convention Center is connected to 1,500 convenient parking spaces. Primary parking is available at the Convention Center Garage (Martin Luther King Blvd & Broadway), with overflow parking available at the Civic Plaza garage (Marquette & 3rd St.). Event parking in these garages is $6.00 per vehicle, without in/out privileges.

Additionally, there are numerous other public parking garages and parking lots available throughout downtown close to the Center. Parking fees vary. Please refer to the posted parking fees at each garage or lot.

Recommend Dress

Business Casual. Please remember meeting rooms can be chilly. Consider dressing in layers or bringing a wrap.
