Accommodations
A block of sleeping rooms has been arranged at the Sheraton Bal Harbour Hotel, located at 9701 Collins Avenue, Bal Harbour, Florida, 33154.  Rooms have been made available for the nights of June 4 - 7, 2005 at the rate of $99.00 plus tax, per night.  You may make your reservation on-line simply by clicking here or you may call the hotel at (305) 865-7511.  Be sure to ask for the "NIDA" room block to receive the negotiated rate when you call.

The NIDA room block at the Sheraton Bal Harbour Hotel has closed per the May 16th cut-off date.

Overflow hotel accommodations are available at The Sea View Hotel, located next to the Sheraton Bal Harbour, at 9909 Collins Avenue, Bal Harbour, Florida 33154. Rooms are available for the nights of June 4 – 7, 2005 at the rate of $99.00 plus tax, per night. Travel
The Sheraton Bal Harbour is easily accessible from both Fort Lauderdale/Hollywood and Miami International Airports.  Taxicab fare is approximately $45-$50 from the Fort Lauderdale/Hollywood International Airport and is approximately $38-$40 from the Miami International Airport.  You may refer to the driving directions if you will be driving.

Approximate Driving Times
Approximate driving times during the morning rush hour to the Sheraton Bal Harbour from local population centers:

Kendall & South Dade: 90 minutes
North Dade (Hialeah, Miami Lakes): 60 minutes
Broward: 60 minutes

These are approximate times based on average rush hour congestion.

Parking
Commuter attendees who will be attending Monday and Tuesday, but will not be staying at the Sheraton should park in the garage structure located across the street from the hotel at the Bal Harbour Shops.  The rate for conference attendees is a flat fee of $10/day.  No documentation is necessary, simply notify the cashier on your way out that you were attending the Blending Conference at the Sheraton.

Americans with Disabilities Act
The Sheraton Bal Harbour Hotel is in compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act and will make every reasonable effort to accommodate any conference attendee.  In order to further ensure that everyone is able to participate in the meeting, Synergy Enterprises, Inc. is requesting that those persons with special requirements contact Ms. Stacy Ringwelski prior to the meeting to communicate requirements (i.e. access ramps, sign interpretations, etc.)
