Direct Assistance
The teleconferences, web-site information and
resources, etc. will address many common evaluation questions and
issues encountered by TAH grantees. Look through the vast resources
available via this website, including the frequently asked questions
that have been asked by other TAH grantees.
For those highly individualized questions that cannot be addressed
via these other means, individualized evaluation technical
assistance is available to all TAH grantees at NO COST to your
program or grant. This direct technical assistance can help you
address a wide range of evaluation topics or dilemmas, and can be
accessed through various means including phone, e-mail and the web.
Types of Assistance
The SEI/CEEP team regularly assists TAH grantees with issues
related to evaluation design, methodology, and analyses, etc. Some
common topics have included evaluation design and implementation,
sample size and sample attrition issues, instrument selection and/or
development, and communicating and reporting findings.
CEEP cannot actually do the evaluation itself for your TAH grant, or
complete your 524B forms for your grant. However, CEEP can help
answer any other evaluation or methodology questions you may have;
and will help you to address any concerns or issues related to
evaluating your TAH program.
Depending on the nature of the specific issue at hand, the
individualized technical assistance can sometimes be provided within
a single call/contact, and other times involves multiple
conversations over a longer period of time. Sometimes the evaluation
technical assistance involves only the TAH external evaluator,
whereas other times the conversation includes the TAH project
director and other members of the TAH program team. The evaluation
technical assistance is tailored to the specific needs of each TAH
grantee.
The personalized technical assistance can be accessed via the
following means:
