PRESIDENT'S MESSAGE
Prachee J. Devadas, President/CEO
The year 2009 was one of change and innovation at SEI. At the height of our
national recession, SEI gave 40 people new jobs; won our largest multimillion
dollar contract, along with nine other new contracts; and added two new Federal
clients to our ever-expanding
list. We also launched a new service structure, a new management structure,
and entered into new partnerships with highly specialized firms. SEI is grateful
for the successes we were able to achieve in this recovering economy with the
help of our clients. The National Federation of Independent Business reported
that small businesses employ more than half of all small-sector workers and
that small businesses create on average about two-thirds of net new jobs annually.
As we enter 2010, the second decade of the 21st century, SEI is prepared to
continue supporting job growth and community-based projects, and will continue
enhancing our small business tools, all with the aim and purpose of helping
our clients enhance and meet their mission challenges. Happy New Year!

2009 Employee Recognition Awards
SEI corporate leadership recognizes that the success and growth of our company
would not have been possible without the dedicated and skilled performance
of its entire staff. Each year, that service is recognized at a festive holiday
celebration. This is also the occasion for recognizing individual service above
and beyond SEI's high standards and expectations. The following employees received
awards on December 11, 2009:
- Roxanne Kibben, Glen Fischer Award
- Sean Grobe, Employee of the Year Award
- Jessica Yoon, Rookie of the Year Award
