You are responsible for making and paying for your own sleeping room arrangements. A sleeping room block has been reserved for CTN Steering Committee Meeting and Symposium event participants at the Hyatt Regency Albuquerque for up to the nights of April 18, 2010 through April 21, 2010.

Reservations due date: Monday, March 22, 2010 (Sleeping rooms and negotiated rate are subject to availability after this date.)

Group room rate: $129 (single and double) per night plus tax (currently 12.75%)

Two methods to make sleeping room reservations:

  • Online: Go to Hyatt Reservations. Under Search Available Rooms, enter your check-in and check-out dates. Press Search Rooms and follow the instructions to finalize sleeping room reservations.
  • Telephone: Call the Hyatt reservations at (888) 421-1442. Reference the hotel name and NIDA CTN Steering Committee to the reservationist to obtain the negotiated rate.

Transportation Information

You are responsible for making and paying for your own travel arrangements. The closest airport to the meeting is Albuquerque International Sunport. Please note that transportation costs are subject to change without prior notice.

Albuquerque International Sunport

  • Taxi Service: The airport is located approximately 10 miles from the hotel. One-way fare is approximately $20.00. It takes 15-20 minutes to and from the hotel, depending upon traffic.

  • Airport Shuttle: Sunport Shuttle – 866-505-4966 or http://www.sunportshuttle.com/services.htm. One-way fare is $11.00 per person. Round-trip fare is $20.00 per person. There is a $5.00 surcharge for additional person(s) each way. The Sunport Shuttle’s check-in counter is located on the first floor across from the Southwest baggage claim 3. Please make reservations in advance.
  • Driving instructions:
    Exit on Sunport Boulevard onto I-25 North.
    Travel I-25 North to Martin Luther King Boulevard? Exit 224 B.
    Turn left on Martin Luther King and travel west to 5th Street.
    Turn left on 5th to Tijeras Avenue.
    Turn left on Tijeras Avenue. The hotel will be located to the right.

Alvarado Transportation Center (Amtrak)
The train station is located in the downtown area of Albuquerque. It is approximately 1 mile to and from the Hyatt Regency Albuquerque. One-way cab fare is approximately $7.00, plus $1.50 for each additional per person. To make train reservations, please visit www.amtrak.com.

Hotel Parking:
Parking is available with in-and-out privileges. To access the parking garage, continue on Tijeras, passing the hotel. Turn right on 3rd Street and then make a right onto Copper. The garage entrance will be on the right.

Valet parking is $16 per night. Self-parking is $12 per day. No R.V. or oversize vehicle parking is available at the hotel; there is a 6’8” clearance.

Handicapped Parking: The parking garage has 3 accessible van spaces and 6 accessible car spaces.

Meals

Light refreshment breaks will be provided one hour prior to event start times and during scheduled event break times. You will be responsible for full breakfast, lunch and dinner. The hotel features McGrath’s, a restaurant serving breakfast, lunch and dinner. There are also a variety of eateries and restaurants within a 5-mile radius of the hotel. A restaurant list will be provided at meeting registration.
