Security at the NSC Building
Non-NIH employees will be required to show a picture ID and to have their bags searched to enter the NSC Building; security will then issue a visitor badge. Pay-per-hour parking is readily available at this location. Please plan to arrive 10 to 15 minutes prior to the meeting start time to allow for the security process.

Hotel Information
A block of sleeping rooms has been reserved for the meeting at the Hilton Rockville. The group rate is $209.00 per night, plus a 13.5 percent tax (a total of $237.21) for single or double occupancy. Train Station

• Union Station is 30 minutes (22 miles) from the NSC Building. Once you disembark from the Amtrak train, walk to the Metrorail within the same building and take the Red Line toward Shady Grove. For directions from the Metro to the NSC see below under Metrorail.

Metrorail

Washington, DC public transportation is a wonderful travel option for this meeting.

• The Hilton Rockville is adjacent to the Twinbrook Metro Station on the Red Line. Take the Red Line toward Shady Grove and disembark at the Twinbrook Metro Station. Exit the Station at the West Exit door and the hotel is located right across the street.
   
• The Neuroscience Center is a 10 minute walk from the White Flint Metro Station on the Red Line. Disembark at the White Flint Metro Station. After exiting the train, come up the escalator and follow the signs to the Rockville Pike Exit and, without going outside, go through the tunnel and exit onto Rockville Pike. Walk down Marinelli Boulevard and turn right onto Executive Boulevard. Cross Old Georgetown Road. The NSC is the second building on your right - 6001 Executive Boulevard.
