Janelle Williams Selected as
Employee of the Quarter

(January , 2010) Silver Spring, MD—In honor of the hard work of employees who support the efforts of Synergy Enterprises, Inc. (SEI) to provide consistent and innovative services to clients, SEI has selected its third Employee of the Quarter. Janelle Williams, Scheduling Manager for SEI’s Communication Services Division, was awarded Friday for going above and beyond expectations, consistently providing exceptional client service, demonstrating advanced technical expertise, exhibiting cooperation and teamwork, and offering creative approaches to tasks and problem solving.

Considered "Communications Central" by her colleagues and clients within SEI, Janelle brings more than 6 years of experience as a publications and marketing professional to managing the flow of in-house deliverables, a role that she consistently performs with efficiency, courtesy, and accuracy. In addition to tracking projects, assigning staff, and monitoring due dates, Janelle is aware of Communication Services team members’ areas of expertise and SEI project directors’ preferences when assigning projects. She also produces most of SEI’s marketing copy, including regular updates to the corporate Web site and an e-newsletter that is widely complimented and always goes out on schedule. In addition to these daily responsibilities, Janelle writes and edits for contract work. Prior to the establishment of Basecamp as the Division project tracking system, Janelle set up a SharePoint site for Communication Services; once Basecamp was operational, Janelle enthusiastically adopted this technology for the Communication Services Division and has employed it with great skill. Consistently high-performing, creative, and eager to learn, Janelle truly exemplifies SEI's commitment to excellence and innovation, and richly deserves to be awarded Employee of the Quarter.

Employees are nominated each quarter by other staff members, who are required to provide a reason for nomination, including specific examples of noteworthy behavior or work ethic. During the nomination process, employees are also asked to describe what makes the nominee unique and to explain how he or she exemplifies SEI’s core values. Nominations are reviewed by the SEI executive team, and one winner is selected based on his or her proven ability to perform well in each of the categories listed above.

Please take a moment to recognize the outstanding work and achievements of the 4th Quarter’s star employee!
