Tim Hale Selected as
Employee of the Quarter
(December 14, 2010) Silver Spring, MD—To honor the hard work of employees who support the efforts of Synergy Enterprises, Inc. (SEI) in providing consistent and innovative services to clients, SEI has selected its sixth Employee of the Quarter. Timothy Hale, a budget specialist who works closely with staff on government and subcontractor payments and accounts, was recognized for going above and beyond expectations, consistently providing exceptional client service, demonstrating advanced technical expertise, exhibiting cooperation and teamwork, and offering creative approaches to tasks and problem solving. Tim has consistently exhibited a stellar work ethic, along with a friendly, respectful office demeanor. He handles quick turnaround times with professionalism and poise, and his attention to detail under tight deadlines is unparalleled.
Tim has been an integral component of SEI’s workforce since 2008. He has consistently enhanced SEI’s mission of excellence by creatively approaching problem solving and by constantly developing new ideas and/or processes. His skill-set includes performing clerical duties as needed, tracking and reporting on projects of varying size and complexity, data entry, collating and preparing meeting folders, maintaining company databases, and composing correspondence using word processing software programs. Tim’s ability to respond and react promptly and with enthusiasm no matter the scope or depth of the job has impressed his SEI co-workers tremendously.
In June 2010, Tim transitioned into the budget specialist position. By September 2010, he had taken full responsibiliy for generating budgets, preparing business proposal responses, and following up on work-related queries, with review and guidance from his supervisors. Tim has clearly demonstrated a sharp learning curve and exhibited the ability to master new functions with minimal hiccups along the way. Despite an intense training and work schedule, Tim has never wavered in the quality of his work. His positive attitude has garnered respect and kudos from both internal and external clients.
Employees are nominated each quarter by other staff members, who are required to provide a reason for nomination, including specific examples of noteworthy behavior or work ethic. Nominations are reviewed by the SEI executive team, and one winner is selected based on his or her proven ability to perform well in each of the categories listed above.
