General Information
In order to receive continuing educational credit for your participation in this Blending Conference, you must (a) indicate one of the accredited disciplines listed below prior to the start of the conference, (b) complete attendance verification and (c) submit a completed conference evaluation. Further instructions will be provided upon conference check-in. A CME/CEU/CE Information Booth will be open at the conference during registration hours.
Physicians
This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the Essential
Areas and Policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education
(ACCME) through the joint sponsorship of the University of New Mexico Office of
Continuing Medical Education and National Institute on Drug Abuse. The University
of New Mexico Office of Continuing Medical Education is accredited by the ACCME
to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
The Office of Continuing Medical Education designates this educational activity
for a maximum of 12 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)™. Physicians should only
claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
Nurses
Application has been made for approval of this continuing nursing education activity
to the New Mexico Nurses Association, an accredited approver of the American Nurses
Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation.
Psychologists
UCLA Integrated Substance Abuse Programs is approved by the American Psychological
Association to sponsor continuing education for psychologists. UCLA Integrated Substance
Abuse Programs maintains responsibility for this program and its content. Up to
12 continuing education credit/contact hours are available.
Social Workers
This program is approved by the National Association of Social Workers, Provider
#886427553, for 12 continuing education contact hours.
Additional recognition will be provided by The Center for the Application of Substance
Abuse Technologies (CASAT), which houses the Mountain West Addiction Technology
Transfer Center (ATTC), an approved provider for California Licensed Clinical Social
Workers - CA Board of Behavioral Sciences- Provider # PCE 1480- CASAT- UNR.
Addiction Professionals
NAADAC, the Association for Addiction Professionals, has approved this program for
12 contact hours. Approved Provider #568.
Additional recognition will be provided by CASAT/ Mountain West ATTC, an approved
provider for the following board in California: CAADAC #OS-85-201-1011. This is
an International Certification and Reciprocity Consortium (IC&RC) affiliated board.
Addiction Educators
Addiction Educators may claim credit through the CASAT/ Mountain West ATTC, an approved
provider for the following boards in California: CAADE #CP10 815 C 070, #CP10 816
A 0710, and #CP10 817 H 0710.
Counselors
This program has been approved by the National Board for Certified Counselors, approval
#SP-1731.
Marriage and Family Therapists
